Neaude Adult Portable Bed Rails-Recalled

Recall Information
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), NEAUDE is voluntarily recalling the products described below.

Name of Product: Neaude Adult Portable Bed Rails

Hazard: The recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. When the bed rails are attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress. In addition, the bed rails do not have the required warning labels.

Remedy: Refund

Your safety is our top priority. Please follow the steps below to complete the recall process and receive your full refund:

Step 1 – Mark the Product
With a permanent marker, please write the word “RECALLED” clearly on both the upper and lower rails of your bed rail.

Step 2 – Prepare Your Verification Photo
1. Place the marked bed rail on a flat surface.
2. Write on a piece of paper: “Bought on or after August 21, 2023.”
3. Take a clear photo that includes both:
• The bed rail marked with “RECALLED”
• The handwritten note “Bought on or after August 21, 2023.”

Step 3 – Send the Photo
Please reply to this email with the following attachments:
1. The photo of your marked bed rail and handwritten note
2. A screenshot of your Amazon order, clearly showing:
• The order ID
• The product name and image
• The purchase date

Step 4 – Dispose of the Product
After sending your photos, please dispose of the bed rail according to your local waste disposal regulations.
You do not need to return the product.

Once we receive and confirm your photo, your full refund will be processed within 30 business days.
If your purchase was made before August 21, 2023, it is not affected by this recall.

Description: This recall involves Neaude-branded adult portable bed rails model BR0221SL001, sold for use on adult beds. The recalled bed rails were sold in a silver top rail with silver support columns, blue accents, red handle button and a faux wood top rail with silver support columns in a wave design, white accents and a red handle button. The bed rails measure about 37 inches wide and about 14 inches high and can fold or unfold by pressing the red handle button.
